Built on Crude is here to discuss Houston’s Built Environment.  What is the Built Environment?  We live in it, work in it, play in it, buy it, sell it, drive past it, see it demolished, and then rebuilt right before our eyes (oftentimes wondering “what were they thinking?”)  The interesting thing about Houston is the expansion and contraction of the built environment contemporaneous with the booms and busts of the oil business.  And no matter where this city goes we know that it will continue to grow and develop alongside the energy sector and will continue to be Built on Crude.
